T shirt made for my step son!!! So proud of him serving in the Army!!

I had to use inkscape and SCAL to get this image.  The font I got from Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.  I think it turned out pretty good, but the snake was a challenge to weed and get the small pieces to stay put!!!

My sister's t-shirts with iron on vinyl!!

I had to create the armadillo on the red t shirt with inkscape and cut it with SCAL.  The rest of the cuts on both were made with the cricut and my cartridges.  Both of my sisters are transplanted Texans, along with me and we are proud of it too!!!

Some of Grandkids presents we made

The t-shirts were made with the cricut and iron on vinyl.  I got the vinyl at "Expressions Vinyl", a great place to order from.

My Sister's Valentine Mailboxes

I wanted to post my sister's talent with her Valentine Mailboxes!!  I used my Cricut  cartridges "Paper Doll Dress Up" and "Everyday Paper Dolls" to mix and match and cut out the girl dolls for her nieces. I think we did a great job!! She did great with the paper and lace on the mailbox!!  All in all it was a great combining of talents for a beautiful outcome!!!  Don't you all agree!!  Good job Connie!!!!! :):):)

Snowman Flag

Here is what I've been sewing on today.  I bought the flag material, red and white, at Hancocks Fabric a few weeks back.  I wanted a snowman flag and couldn't find one or it was too much money.  So.......I made one.:)  I used my cricut machine to cut the snowman shape out( yes it cuts some fabric too!!!) then used my sewing machine to hem the sides and bottom and make the big hem on top.  I then added some interfacing to the snowman to make him easier to sew on the flag.  I zigzagged the edges of the snowman then used my applique stitch to put him on the flag.  He turned out rather good.  I then cut some vinyl eyes, mouth, and buttons and glued them on with zip glue(permanent) and used some orange stickles to add his nose.  So what do you think?  Took me all day long to figure out how to do everything, but I think it was worth it.  It was fun anyway.  Oh, I did stop for lunch at the Sonic, tired of turkey!!!! CarolH :)

Little Chapel in the Pines

I added this vinyl scene to my front screen door. I used the Christmas Noel cartridge to cut the chapel and the pine trees. I added the blue star in the sky and all the little snowflakes above.  The pine trees didn't have any snow on the top so I added some liquid pearl white to them and they turned out really cute.  Hope you like it.  CarolH :)

Snowflakes

Here is two different views of the vinyl snowflakes and Merry Christmas I added to my glass beside my front door.  I used the Joys of the Season, Christmas Noel, and Christmas Cheer for all of the different snowflakes.  I cut the Merry Christmas and backing square at 7" and all of the snowflakes at 3".  Hope you enjoy. :)

A Couple Of Shirts

I bought a couple of new shirts at Walmart for the Christmas season. They are great to wear around the house and super comfortable.
