Male Birthday Card
I made this card for my brother-in-law. I used paper and colors for a male oriented card. The "Happy Birthday" cuttlebug embossing folder was used along with the present cuttlebug stamp cutout and embossing folder. Enjoy :)
Birthday Card
I made this birthday card for my sister and used the cuttlebug "Happy Birthday" embossing folder. I used foil to emboss on. The matting for the card is DCWV the green stack paper. I used ribbon on the bottom of the card and used the tiny attacher to make the loops. The bow was tied with the bow easy. I added a few gems with the Imaginisce I-Rock. Hope you like it. CarolH :)

Another Autumn Card!!
I made another Autumn card, but this one is a tri-fold. I made a homemade flower that I got the idea from "Creations with Christina" when she added a video on her blog showing how to make your own flowers. So much cheaper than buying them and I think cuter. I used Walmart card stock, which is also cost friendly, for the flower paper. The card is cut from core'dinations as well as the pumpkin. This is my first try at a tri-fold and I kinda like it! Enjoy :)

Autumn card
Just made this Autumn card with some glam rocks you attach with a i-rock heating tool. Sooo easy and it adds a little something to your card. I cut out the Autumn and tree with my gypsy from cricut. I used the gypsy wanderings link to cut it. I used my cuttlebug Autumn embossing folder for the inside and colored a bit with my copic markers. Just something different from Halloween cards. :)

Happy Birthday Card
This is the birthday card I made for my Aunt who turned 95 on this last Sunday. I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder "Happy Birthday" and changed the color by rubbing yellow ink over the raised images. I used plain Georgia Pacific paper I got at Walmart for the embossed image and matted it on patterned paper I had stashed away to add more pizzazz. I used yellow ribbon and my new tiny attacher from Tim Holtz to make the loops for added dimension. I thought it turned out pretty good, what about you? :)

Wedding Shower Card
I needed to make a wedding shower card that I could send a gift card in. I used a heart stamp and flourish stamp on the front. I stamped them in versamark ink and used kaleidacolor ink on my brayer to ink the front on glossy white cardstock. I added the ribbon and bow with some Martha Stewart ribbon I found at Big Lots. On the inside I downloaded a cut file from Okieladybug's web site to make the pocket for my gift card. I used Indie cartridge to cut the two hearts on the right side of the card. The stamp for the congratulation! is from My Pink Stamper set. I did use a little stickles on the two hearts to add a little bling! Hope you enjoy the card and hope Emily likes it too. CarolH :)

Kitchen Clipboard
I purchased this blank clipboard at Archivers when I was visiting my sisters in Missouri. It was a blank canvas to work with. I chose the "From My Kitchen" cartridge to cut all the fruits, vegetables and the lobster and crab. I also cut the "from my kitchen" for the center. I covered the clipboard with a 6 inch circle from the George cartridge on some K and Company paper. I covered it all with 3 or 4 coats of Mod Podge and attached the hardware, that was included. A cute addition to any kitchen for recipe holders to grocery lists. All of this for only $1.99 and some paper and time!! Thanks for looking. CarolH :)

Thank You Card
One more post for tonight. Trying to replenish my supply of cards on hand. This card started off with the "Thanks So Much" embossed on the metal sheet and colored with alcohol inks. My sister gave this to me when I was visiting with her this last two weeks. You can visit her blog at "nativefortworthgirl.blogspot.com" . I used core'dinations paper and the Hero Arts stamp Dots and Flowers stamped on white cardstock with distress ink to mat the metal on. I cut out the rickrack with an ek success punch. I added the rickrack on the envelope also. Enjoy and I promise this is my last post for tonight. It's been a long Saturday! CarolH :)
Familys are Forever
This is another card I made from "Just Because" Cards. I love this cartridge. I used little red gemstones for the apples in the tree. A little more faux stitching for the letters with my white gelly roll pen. I put a little tree on the envelope to match the card. Thanks for looking. CarolH :)
Just Kickin Back
I finally got back in my scrapbook room!!! It's been a very busy month. We had company, which we really enjoyed. I also had a garage sale that I went to in Missouri! I always spend a week or so with my sisters in May. This time I collected all my things that I was cleaning out and took with me for the huge garage sale they have in their neighborhood. Anyway, I'm back and scrapping once again. I got the new cartridge "Just Because"Cards. I saw this on Everyday Cricut, made by Joy, and had to try it. I used the adhesive backed foil I got at Hobby Lobby for the boot and loved the way it looked. A little faux stitching and there it is!! Hope you like it. Thanks for looking. CarolH :)
